Why do my muscles get so tight after I exercise?

However, there are other factors that can help reduce this sensation. Post workout mobility like stretching or range of motion routines as well as good nutrition and hydration. Thanks for the question, unfortunately it is tough to determine what the cause of the pain might be based on what you have told me. It sounds like something called a peripheral Nerve entrapment , which can be from the wrist being subluxated/dislocated or a muscle that was strained being stuck to it.
