He then attended a General Practitioner Residency at New York Presbyterian Queens, a level 1 trauma center. During this time, he developed his interest in endodontics while helping patients with various dental emergencies and trauma. After working as a general dentist, Dr. Yoo sought further education and earned his specialty certificate in endodontics and an additional Master of Science degree at Marquette University. The prestigious Gene Gloudeman scholarship was awarded to Dr. Yoo for being the highest-achieving resident. Superior clinical skills, active research, and teaching set him apart from others.
