After earning his Medical Degree from the University of Carabobo Faculty of Health Sciences in 2011, Dr. Iardino moved to the United States to further his career. His early work as a researcher at Houston Methodist Hospital laid a strong foundation for his medical practice. He completed an internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (Permian Basin) from 2016 to 2019, followed by a critical care and pulmonology fellowship at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV from 2019 to 2022.
As a triple board-certified physician in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Iardino is recognized for his commitment to excellence in patient care. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians (where he serves as a Texas Chapter Board Member), and the American Thoracic Society.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Iardino is dedicated to education and mentorship. Since 2022, he has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of North Dakota, where he shares his expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals, ensuring the continued advancement of medical practice in the region.
Outside his professional responsibilities, Dr. Iardino enjoys playing pickleball and indulging in reef keeping, reflecting his diverse interests.
