Dr. Stephanie Grice, originally from western New York near Buffalo, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to pediatric care. She earned dual bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Psychology from Long Island University in 2006 and graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, in 2010.
Dr. Grice moved to Virginia for her pediatric residency at the University of Virginia, where she received recognition with a teaching award and a community advocacy award. After completing her residency, she worked in Pediatric Urgent Care in New York, gaining extensive experience in acute illnesses and various musculoskeletal and traumatic injuries, including fractures, sprains, concussions, and lacerations.
In 2014, Dr. Grice returned to Virginia to focus on primary care pediatrics. She has special interests in infant feeding, parent coaching during the first year of life, early childhood emotional development, parenting strategies, and childhood fitness and nutrition. She is also well-versed in treating children and adolescents with sleep difficulties, anxiety, autism, speech/language delays, ADHD, and depression.
Outside the office, Dr. Grice enjoys music, sports (especially Buffalo Bills football and UVA basketball), outdoor activities, and water sports. She cherishes spending time with her family, including her husband, step-daughter Marcella, and son Bennett.
