In regards to his educational background, he received his medical degree from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, before completing his residency in ophthalmology at the Kaplan Hospital. He also completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgical fellowship at NYEEI, renowned for being one of the oldest and busiest eye hospitals in the United States. His research contributions have been recognized at major ophthalmology conferences, where he has presented more than 60 times internationally.

Recently honored with the prestigious Honor Award from the American Society of Retinal Specialists, he is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of medical professionals, guiding medical students, ophthalmology residents, and vitreoretinal fellows at the Retina Center of NYEEI.
