About

I am a dedicated and compassionate board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion for helping individuals navigate and overcome mental health challenges. With several years of experience in psychiatric nursing, I have honed my skills in providing comprehensive, personalized care to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. My background includes treating a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and schizophrenia. Through my work, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of their mental health journey.

My treatment approach is centered on evidence-based therapies, with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, and by helping clients identify and change negative thought patterns, they can develop healthier coping mechanisms and achieve meaningful improvements in their mental health. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques and trauma-informed care to ensure that clients receive holistic, well-rounded treatment.

In addition to the technical aspects of therapy, I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships. I recognize the importance of trust, empathy, and open communication, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment. Each person is unique, and I tailor my treatment plans to meet the individual needs and experiences of my clients.

My treatment philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental health is deeply interconnected with emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I approach each client with compassion, respect, and integrity, recognizing that the journey to mental wellness is a personal and unique process. I believe in empowering my clients, providing them with the tools, strategies, and support they need to navigate their challenges and build resilience. My ultimate goal is to inspire hope and foster long-term positive change, helping clients lead fulfilling and balanced lives.

With the flexibility of telehealth services, I make therapy accessible and convenient, allowing clients to prioritize their mental health from the comfort of their own homes. I am committed to helping you achieve your mental health goals and supporting you every step of the way. If you're ready to take that step toward healing, I invite you to reach out and begin this journey together.
