Hello! I'm Melkamzer A. Chari, a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Columbia, Maryland. I bring over a decade of experience in mental health care to my practice. My passion lies in helping patients overcome their mental health challenges through compassionate care and evidence-based treatments.

I currently serve as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Allen-Ayuk Behavioral Health. I have also worked with esteemed organizations like the University of Maryland Medical System, Johns Hopkins Medicine, MedStar Health, and Sheppard Pratt. These experiences have enriched my understanding and expertise in providing the best care possible for my patients.

I hold a Master of Science (MS) in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Washington Adventist University.
