About

I am Rebecca Nabosa, a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Heartland Mental Health Services. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2022. With a steadfast commitment to serving adolescents and adults, I take a comprehensive and culturally diversified approach to mental health care. Over my 14-year career in healthcare, I have gained extensive experience across various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, outpatient and inpatient mental health, crisis units, admissions, and community mental health services.

My career began as a Licensed Practical Nurse (2010-2017), then advanced to Registered Nurse (2017-2022), ultimately leading to my current role as an advanced practice nurse. This diverse background has equipped me with the expertise needed to treat a range of mental health conditions, including substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, psychosis, and more. Committed to making mental health care accessible and convenient, I offer my services virtually, allowing patients to receive care in the comfort of their own homes.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:

I am dedicated to serving adolescents and adults for psychiatric medication management. I offer a comprehensive and culturally diversified approach to mental health services. I specialize and have experience in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, psychotic disorders and multi-mood disorders.
