I am a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who has chosen to expand my knowledge of Functional Medicine. When we understand an individual's microbiome and epigentics I can get to the root of many womens unresolved health problems. The microbiome is more than just taking probiotics and can be tested to see if your natural flora is helping or hurting you. Epigenetics are small protein changes in your DNA that can affect how your genes are expressed. These changes are called SNPs and lifestyle choices via food, exercise and stress management can have an impact how they affect our risk for future wellness. I love being able to offer new information to women who continue to look for ways to feel their best.
