Pertaining to her educational pursuits, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry at Concord College in Athens, West Virginia. She then earned her degree in Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach, Florida. Furthering her education, Dr. Morris completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

From 2016 to 2018, she held the position of assistant team physician for New Mexico State University, focusing on orthopedic care for the football, basketball, and volleyball teams.
