About

Hello, my name is Michelle Thomas, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC. I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing comprehensive, personalized care to individuals of all ages. I specialize in diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health conditions, including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, and chronic stress-related complaints such as insomnia.

At my clinic, I offer a compassionate and thorough psychiatric assessment, followed by tailored treatment plans that may include traditional medication management, psychotherapy, or integrative care approaches. I believe in the power of evidence-based Integrative Psychiatry and Functional Medicine, incorporating strategies such as lifestyle modifications, gut-brain health education, natural supplementation, and hormone optimization to improve mental health outcomes.

I also focus on deprescribing medications when appropriate, for patients who prefer to explore alternative or complementary therapies. By providing a range of options, I ensure every patient feels informed and empowered in their healthcare journey.

Collaboration is central to my practice—I work alongside experienced therapists, counselors, and clinicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. My goal is to create a supportive and respectful environment where patients feel comfortable and confident as we work toward their mental and physical well-being.

Treatment philosophy:

I believe in an integrative approach to healthcare. Each patient is unique and deserves personalized care. My goal is to treat the whole person—mind and body. I focus on listening to my patients, understanding their needs, and educating them about their treatment options. I specialize in mental health, integrative medicine, and family care, using methods like psychotherapy, medication management, and IV therapies. Collaboration is key; together, we create effective treatment plans. I aim to empower my patients with knowledge, helping them take an active role in their healing journey. Compassion and respect guide my practice, ensuring a supportive environment for all.
