A native of Hagerstown, Maryland, Dr. Garazo returned in 1997 to become partners with Dr. Michael Hall at Plastic Surgery Services, originally founded in 1961 by Dr. John Clark. He prides himself on offering a variety of popular cosmetic procedures, including Hagerstown breast augmentation, as well as comprehensive, informative consultations where every patient always meets personally with him. Whether he is helping a patient try on breast implants before breast augmentation or ensuring flowers are ready for patients on their follow-up visit, he takes a personal approach to his practice.
In regards to his educational background, Dr. Garazo attended North Hagerstown High School, where he graduated with honors and was presented with a Maryland Distinguished Scholar Award (for graduating in the top 5% of the State of Maryland). He went on to earn his medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his residency in general surgery at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He completed his residency in plastic surgery at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics, in Augusta, Georgia.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, whose mission is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the John Staige Davis Society of the Plastic Surgeons of Maryland.
In the past, Dr. Garazo was the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Washington County Hospital. He now serves on the consulting staff for both Chambersburg Hospital and Waynesboro Hospital. He also fills the role of Medical Advisor for Cumberland Valley Breast Cancer Awareness.
