  • How should I sleep after dental implants?

That is a good question. In general, it is best to avoid any pressure on the area to ensure proper healing. In my opinion, don’t sleep on the side of the implants, and definitely not face down. Good luck. Dr. Robert Mokbel READ MORE

  • I knocked out my two front teeth. What's the procedure for implants?

Sorry to hear that. the procedure can be very simple if the injury did not cause any bone destruction or infection. Need to start with a thorough examination, X-rays, scan impressions to get a good idea of your situation. If all is good, you get the implants surgically placed and after usually a healing period of 4 months, you get the final impressions for the permanent crowns. Stay safe. READ MORE

  • Can you get implants with bad gums?

Hello, It is best if you get a complete evaluation and treat gum disease. Infection of gums most of the time affects the underlying bones and it will interfere with the healing and integration of the implant. Implants should not be placed just to fill holes, but rather as part of a plan to rehabilitate your whole mouth and body.
