Nausea after surgery
Talk with your anesthesiologist. There are new medications on the market that can help with post-operative nausea. Off and on lower right abdominal pain
Appendix pain is usually acute, and flares up ending in possible rupture and an emergency room visit. Typically does not occur periodically. An ultrasound or CAT scan of the abdomen is warranted if you are having pain. READ MORE
Can you remove gallstones without removing the gallbladder?
Typically no. The gallbladder is removed because it is the culprit making the gallstones. If gallstones were removed only, the gallbladder would just make more. READ MORE
I saw small amounts of blood while throwing up?
This can be serious. Seek medical attention if having chest pain. Severe hurling 'vomiting' can cause esophageal rupture and injury with bleeding. Also stomach inflammation or ulcers can cause bleeding. READ MORE
Gallstones
You can still have ongoing discomfort if the gallbladder had a recent attack. Stay away from the greedy foods until gallbladder is removed. READ MORE

Since I had my appendix removed, I haven't really had an appetite. Is this normal?
