Specializing in general and family dentistry, Dr. Borg is currently serving patients’ dental needs at East Main Dental Center in Medford, Oregon. Established in 1977, East Main Dental Center is one of the oldest dental practices in Southern Oregon. Throughout the years they have been a strong, active part of the Medford community, serving families and children with exceptional dental care. Their motto is prevention is the foundation upon which they build.

Having been a Southern Oregon resident since 1967, Dr. Borg is a graduate of Medford Senior High in 1983 and Southern Oregon University in 1987. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon in 1991. 

Believing that continuing education is an important aspect of offering patients modern state-of-the-art treatment options, he remains a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, the Southern Oregon Dental Society, and the STP Implant Study Club. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. A general dentist is a primary care dental provider. They diagnose, treat, and manage patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education. 

On a more personal note, Dr. Borg is very active in the community coaching high school sports. He and his wife, Robin, have four children, Tanner, Hannah, Abigail, and Olivia. The family enjoys many outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and playing tennis.
