He is board-certified in both Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Furthermore, he holds professional memberships with the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, the Austin Society of Otolaryngology, as well as the Texas Association of Otolaryngology. Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States.
