He then completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, and served a residency in anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. While at Columbia University, he was given the honor to serve as Chief Resident. Choosing then to sub-specialize in pain medicine, he completed a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the University of California Davis Medical Center, graduating in December of 2005.
As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in both pain management and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of OR anesthesiology and interventional/medical pain management.
