Get to know Internist Dr. Nazeel A. Qureshi, who serves the population of New York. Dr. Qureshi graduated with his Medical Degree from the St. George’s University School of Medicine in the West Indies. After obtaining his Medical Degree he relocated to the United States where he completed his internal medicine residency with the Albany Medical Center. Dr. Qureshi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Qureshi currently practices with the Samaritan Hospitalist Group where he holds an expertise in internal medicine. Internal Medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Internists are skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes. They care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients and may play a major role in education and research.
