Dr. Zoghbi graduated from Central University of Venezuela School of Medicine, where she laid the foundation for her illustrious career. Her pursuit of excellence led her to a research fellowship in endocrine and minimally invasive surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center. She honed her skills during a two-year residency in general surgery and further specialized with a fellowship in perioperative safety and management at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Zoghbi’s training continued with a research fellowship at Penn Medicine, focusing on Perioperative simulation, TeamSTEPPS training, and enhancing non-clinical skills for surgery residents. She completed her residency in anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by specialized training in pediatric anesthesia and pediatric regional anesthesia at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
