Now one of the largest nonprofit voluntary teaching hospitals in Brooklyn, the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center is committed to being the focus of a healthy community, stressing the organization’s values of caring and respect for everyone. Alongside her clinical role, Dr. Williams serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The Department is advancing women’s health care through education, patient care, research, as well as global and public health initiatives. It trains the next generation of physicians and physician-scientists to deliver innovative patient care and patient-focused research across the spectrum of women’s reproductive health.
A 1981 graduate of Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, Dr. Williams went on to complete her residencies at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County.
Following her training, he earned board certification in obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
