Throughout his academic career, Dr. Atanda received his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine in 2004, and completed his residency in general surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in 2009. Finally, he completed his fellowship in surgical critical care at the Westchester Medical Center in 2010.
