When does stomach pain become serious?
Stomach pain is common. Mostly it is not serious and treatable with over-the-counter drugs like omeprazole, antacids, or diet change. Pain from serious problems can be differentiated by medical work-up if no improvement with simple changes. Severe pain more likely is a serious problem, but a serious problem may not cause pain. So, abdominal pain is serious when associated with serious problems, but serious problems may not be associated with pain. READ MORE

If it’s one leg only, most likely venous thrombosis or infection. Venous blockage from any source can cause it. If both legs, heart and kidney problems can cause it. Gangrene is not an immediate concern. Seek urgent medical attention! Elevate leg above heart level in meantime. READ MORE
