Get to know Internist Dr. Anosh Ahmed, who serves patients in Chicago, Illinois.

A committed internist, philanthropist, and an entrepreneur by heart, Dr. Ahmed is the Founder of The Heart of Health Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. From real estate, telecommunications to the ever-growing medical world, his passion for building businesses extends across multiple emerging markets.

The Heart of Health strives to inspire hope and provide access to high-quality healthcare to patients regardless of employment status, age, nationality, or ability to pay for medical care.

From humble beginnings, Dr. Ahmed and his family immigrated to the United States at the young age of seven years old. He entered the workforce at the age of 13 to help support his family where he discovered his entrepreneurial passion.

Throughout his academic career, he graduated with his Bachelor of Applied Science degree from South Texas College, and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his medical education at the Windsor University School of Medicine, and his residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Prior to establishing The Heart of Health Clinic, Dr. Ahmed served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Loretto Hospital until 2021.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
