From humble beginnings, Dr. Ahmed and his family immigrated to the United States at the young age of seven years old. He entered the workforce at the age of 13 to help support his family where he discovered his entrepreneurial passion.
Throughout his academic career, he graduated with his Bachelor of Applied Science degree from South Texas College, and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his medical education at the Windsor University School of Medicine, and his residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Prior to establishing The Heart of Health Clinic, Dr. Ahmed served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Loretto Hospital until 2021.
