Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Linda Lucombe, who serves the population of Florida.

Dr. Lucombe is a board certified Family Practitioner with Physicians Regional Medical Group. Physicians Regional Medical Group, affiliated with Physicians Regional Healthcare System, is a complete care medical practice, home to more than 50 providers representing a variety of medical specialties. At Physicians Regional Medical Group, they focus on treating the patient, not just the disease. Working together, the physicians of their group provide comprehensive diagnoses and coordinated treatment.

Dr. Lucombe has expertise in family medicine and specializes in many aspects of primary care for newborn, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. She provides diabetes management, blood pressure control, cholesterol management, chronic disease management, wellness visits, newborn/child/yearly/school/sport physicals, weight loss medicine, and mental health treatment.

Dr. Lucombe graduated with her Medical Degree from the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in 1992, giving her over two decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her medical degree she completed her Family Medicine residency with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Dr. Lucombe is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Founded in 1969, ABFM is a not-for-profit, private organization whose mission is to improve the health of the public through Board Certification, Residency Training, Research, Leadership Development, and promoting the development of the specialty of Family Medicine. As of summer 2018, ABFM has more than 92,000 Diplomates and is the third largest of 24 boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Through ABMS, the specialty boards work together to establish common standards for physicians to achieve and maintain board certification.
