Dr. Saffran is the world's Worst, The SLOPPYEST 'surgeon' on all of God's green earth. He butchered my foot. I Said, HE . BUTCHERED . MY . FOOT!!! What should have been a simple operation (he said, "he's done Hundreds"- with an 'S'. That's "Hundreds" with an 's'! <wink>) turned out to be, and has been an ENDLESS NIGHTMARE going on 2 years now. ... And to add insult to INJURY the Flakey Clown wants to insist he did a good job!? ... I will tell you this, Dr. Saffran is first and foremost a 'shameless politician', much more so than an actual competent doctor or skillful surgeon as one would expect. DON'T GET FOOLED! .. GOOD LUCK if you get tangled into his web; after he takes his scalpel to you it'll be Too Late. Then months later, he'll be 'GLAD' to tell you (with a grin on his face) that's your problem not his. And That's EXACTLY what you'll be dealing with, good ole 'Barry' Saffran. ... if I can help warn at least just one innocent 'unsuspecting' soul of avoiding such a miserable PAINFUL fate such as that, then this comment was well worth it. ..... UPDATE - Not even 10 hours after the above comment was posted (with the ink still wet, so-to-speak) I received a call from the 'keenly-aware', self-preserving, skilled and practiced 'Shameless Politician' none other than the slick 'Barry' Saffran. His main intention was to 'shmooze' me so I would remove the comment (though he denied that). But still I made an effort to hear him out and believe him. But as to be expected, he, 'post-operative' 'doctor' Barry Saffran (you'll see what I mean; if he operates on you), staying true to his lack of integrity and low character just keeps on contradicting himself, making excuses, playing dumb, and evasively talking in circles; and that's putting it politely (There's More To Be Said About That!). He was predictable, repetitive and going nowhere so FINALLY I had to Hang Up (or vomit). My phone record shows that I put up with his annoying nasally voice for a little over 24 minutes. ... Time your appointments with him, look at what he reports in 'YOUR' records and see if it matches. among other things. ..The fact remains, he had No Problem MUTILATING my foot (there is an underlying meanness to his tone and disposition, that I have never seen in any other Doctor before), and if he "picks" you, and 'gets his bases covered' 'by any means necessary, from collusion with 'his' fellow foot doctors to flat out lying on medical records' 'so he doesn't have to answer to anybody or anything', he'll have no problem 'stringing you along' and MUTILATING Your Foot Too (because, as he made perfectly clear to me in our phone 'conversation', he's "been doing 'this' a long time."). .... Folks, I'm in a hell of a lot of pain right now (20 plus months post-op). Without going into specific details, it feels like all the tissue and nerves in all the areas he 'touched' was chopped up recklessly by some kind of psychopath, scooped out, run through a meat grinder, then haphazardly stuffed back in and sewed back up; That's What It Feels Like! (OVER 20 MONTHS AFTER SURGERY; how 'patient' am I supposed to be?!). The surgical scars were jagged, as if a chainsaw were used, not clean, sharp and precise like I've seen on YouTube videos (maybe he purposely used a dull scalpel. Or his hand was shaking?). I will never forgive what that sneaky, crooked, corrupt, two-bit evil clown did to my foot and the way he went about it. Both, he knows, and now I know, what he essentially did was assault me while he had me completely sedated.
