Certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the doctor is also board-certified in both internal medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). A Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Dr. Mohammadi is a member of the American Geriatric Society, the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women Association, the U.S. Iranian American Medical Association, and the Medical Council of Iran.
Having participated in research on aspects of gallbladder cancer, she has also been part of a research team working on phase 3 clinical trials. Her research areas include delirium, dementia, advanced directive, caregiver stress, and healthy aging.

An accomplished concert pianist and instructor, Dr. Mohammadi attended Morley College in London to study piano performance and Pacific University in California to study music therapy. She has taught music theory and piano performance and is author of the book Applied Music Theory. She is also a professional ski instructor and is fluent in Farsi.
