He is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (FAAO).
Subsequent to his training, Dr. O’Boyle acquired board certification in ophthalmology from the American Board of Ophthalmology. The American Board of Ophthalmology is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America. Founded in 1916, the ABO was the first American Board established to certify medical specialists.
