Eduardo Aversano is an acupuncturist practicing in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Aversano evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of oriental medicine. Acupuncturists complete their evaluations by getting a patient history and looking at and touching the body. Then, they place very fine acupuncture needles into specific points on the body. That is a difficult question because there is a great difference between one migraine and another.On top of that if you are very stress it will always take longer because many stressed people have very tight muscle shoulders and neck. Can acupuncture fix sciatica?
Yes no doubt, but again it depends how bad your back is. I always ask for a MRI report to find out which discs are involved and how bad it is. You can have herniated discs, bulging discs, stenosis , foramina narrowing in general all are called arthritis and degeneration. That depends. Some people have seasonal allergies other have perennial ones. When chronic it will take much longer. you do have to treat the acute attack and have to strenghten the immune system at the same time. READ MORE

Acupuncture in general, including for insomnia does not hurt at all. When the needle hit the acupuncture point you will feel a tingle sensation which is normal, feeling nothing at all means most of the time that the acupuncture point was missed. READ MORE

Get to know Acupuncturist Dr. Eduardo Theodore Aversano, who serves patients throughout the State of Florida.
Dr. Aversano is a licensed acupuncturist with a warm personality and a deep understanding of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. His 36 years of experience combined with his gentle approach make him one of the most sought-after acupuncturists in South Florida and The Hamptons. His private practice currently has locations in Boca Raton and Palm Beach inside The Ambassador Hotel.
Back in the early days of his academic career, he attended Japanese Acupuncture Studies in Tokyo in 1977, before graduating from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1982. In the next two years, he lived in Beijing, China, where he completed an apprenticeship in acupuncture with Guo Xiao-Zong and Cheng Xinnong, as well as an apprenticeship in pulse diagnosis and herbal prescriptions with Dr. An.
After working in private practice in Belgium and the Netherlands from 1984 to 1988, Dr. Aversano graduated with a degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Asian Institute of Oriental Studies. He practiced chinese medicine in Scotland and India for the next few years, and served as an Instructor at the Anglo-Dutch College of Acupuncture in 1992. He then returned to the United States and established a private practice in Long Island, New York, where he worked for the next 25 years, before relocating to Florida in 2018.
Throughout his career, he has taught and lectured and continues to instruct at various schools and symposiums throughout the world, including at the Anglo-Dutch College of Acupuncture, European University for Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being.
