Get to know Hospitalist Dr. Khanh Nguyen, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas.

An experienced hospitalist, Dr. Nguyen is affiliated with Texas Health. She maintains privileges at Texas Health Specialty Hospital, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth, and Texas Health Fort Worth.

Texas Health Resources is a faith-based, nonprofit health system that cares for more patients in North Texas than any other provider. It serves North Texas through Texas Health Physicians Group, hospitals, outpatient facilities, Neighborhood Care & Wellness Centers, home health and preventive and fitness services.

In Israel, Dr. Nguyen graduated with her medical degree from Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in 2002. She then relocated to the United States, performing her residency in internal medicine at St. Mary Medical Center in 2005.

Subsequent to her training, she attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Hospital medicine is a medical specialty that exists in some countries as a branch of family medicine or internal medicine, dealing with the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients. Hospitalists improve care for hospitalized patients. They manage day-to-day care and provide prompt and complete attention to all patient care needs including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within their scope of practice).
