Dr. Bovino is a skilled orthodontist who provides treatment to children, adolescents, and adults ranging in age from 7 to 80. She prescribes conventional braces, Invisalign, and removable braces as appropriate to the individual and their needs.

A graduate of Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery Specialty Program, Dr. Bovino served as Assistant Clinical Professor of the school’s post graduate department for five years and as alumni president of the Columbia Orthodontic Society in 2001.

Prosthodontics, also known as dental prosthetics or prosthetic dentistry, is the area of dentistry that focuses on dental prostheses. A prosthodontist is a dentist who specializes in treating complex dental and facial matters, including the restoration and replacement of missing or damaged teeth with artificial devices. They are highly trained in dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, jaw disorders, and more.

Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. Orthodontists are responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient’s teeth and with their oral development.
