Can acupuncture help with neuropathy in the feet?
Yes, Acupuncture can help. It helps to move Qi and blood, so as to improve your circulation. It also helps to repair nerves, etc. by delivering key nutrients, etc. to the area. Chinese Medicine Theory looks at neuropathy as an issue that is caused by an obstruction of the flow of Qi. So, yes it can be helpful. However, it is not a one visit fix. Treatment plans usually involve 6-10 visits. I see patients at least 2 times per week for the first week to two weeks. Based on how well things are improving will determine frequency of visits as well as the number of visits. The goal is to get your body back to its natural, balanced state, so it can function efficiently and keep you healthy. Felt free to reach out if you have more questions. Thank you. READ MORE
