Dr. Phong Le is co-founder of Northern California Orthopaedic Associates and is a Fellowship Trained Foot and Ankle specialist. He is highly qualified to treat all foot and ankle disorders and particularly enjoys treating bunion deformities, fractures, flat feet and sports related injuries. He has experience in revision and complex reconstructive surgery.

He received his undergraduate education in his home state of Massachusetts with a Bachelors of Art degree in biology from Clark University in 1999. He then went on to further his education at Worcester State University by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences with a certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology. He then worked at Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA as a board certified nuclear medicine technologist for approximately 3 years before deciding to pursue Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Phong Le completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 2008.

His postgraduate training included a three-year comprehensive medicine and surgical residency in reconstructive rear-foot and ankle surgery at Cambridge Health Alliance Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Cambridge, MA from 2008-2011, a Harvard Medical School Teaching Affiliate, and served as chief-resident during his 3rd year. Dr. Phong Le advanced his education and training by further completing a Podiatric Sports Medicine & Surgery Fellowship at Irvine Multi-Specialty Surgical Care in Irvine, CA from 2011-2012.

Dr. Phong Le is currently Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Board Eligible in Reconstructive Rear-foot & Ankle Surgery with the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and California Podiatric Medical Association. He is an Associate of the American Podiatric Sports Medicine Association. He has served the Secretary/Treasurer in 2013, Vice President from 2014-2015 and is currently serving as the President of Sacramento Valley Podiatric Medical Society.

He has completed the AO North America Podiatric Basic and Advanced courses, ACFAS Surgical Skills in Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy course, Arthrex Surgical Skills in Sports Medicine Injuries course, Texas Scottish Hospital for Children Hospital Based course in External Fixation, Stryker Podiatry Product Training course, Arthrex Advanced Foot & Ankle Training course, Wright Medical Advances in Foot & Ankle Surgery course, Wright Medical In-Bone II Total Ankle course, Tornier Salto-Talaris Total Ankle course and the Stryker STAR total ankle course. He has also given presentations at regional and national podiatric conferences. Dr. Phong Le continues to attend numerous foot and ankle conferences in order to keep up to date with advancing technology and evidence based medicine.

Dr. Phong Le currently has hospital and surgical privileges at Fort Sutter Surgery Center, Greater Sacramento Surgery Center, Mercy Methodist Hospital, Mercy General Hospital, Sutter Alhambra Surgery Center and Sutter Medical Center.

Dr. Phong Le shares his personal time with his wife, two sons and his daughter.  He enjoys playing basketball and watching movies on his spare time.
