To begin his medical journey, Dr. Bota earned his medical degree in 1997 from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Then obtained a Master in Social Gerontology at University of Southern California, followed by his residency from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. In order to provide his patients with the best care, Dr. Bota currently specializes in diagnosing and treating mental illness and major depressive disorder. Furthermore, Dr. Bota has published over 60 articles and book chapters and has given over 100 presentations at national and international psychiatry conferences throughout his successful career. In order to remain up to date in his field, Dr. Bota is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Association for Advancement in Science, Romanian Medical Association, Schizophrenia International Research Society, and the Clinical TMS Society. In addition to working at BrainHealth Soultions, Dr. Bota also serves as a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UC Riverside.
