Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Katarzyna Zolkos, who treats patients in Ellenton, Florida. 

Dr. Zolkos is a family practitioner serving Ellenton and the surrounding communities through Family & Internal Medicine Associates, PA. A family-owned private practice, Dr. Zolkos and her husband both practice at Family & Internal Medicine Associates, PA. 

Additionally, she is affiliated with Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, the hospital of choice for many families in the Manatee/Sarasota region. Since it opened in September 2004, the hospital has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission. The Gold Seal of Approval is recognized across the nation as a symbol of quality that shows the hospital's commitment to meeting certain performance standards.

In regards to her education, Dr. Zolkos earned her medical degree from Jagiellonian University Krakow in 2002. After relocating to the United States, she completed her family medicine residency with the Oakwood Annapolis Hospital. 

To stay up to date in her field, Dr. Zolkos is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a not-for-profit, private organization whose mission is to improve the health of the public through Board Certification, Residency Training, Research, Leadership Development, and promoting the development of the specialty of Family Medicine.

As a family practitioner, Dr. Zolkos specializes in comprehensive health care for people of all ages.
