How many times a week do you have to undergo dialysis?
No dialysis isn't painful. However it is process of cleaning blood of waste product and electrolytes and also removing fluids. The experience can vary from person to person. How many times a week and how long will depend on the residual kidney function. Usually we tend to do three times a week and average of 4 hours each time but it can be less or longer depending on pts weight and residual kidney function. READ MORE
