Dr. Micah Diaz Berry was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He attended UCLA for undergraduate education where he earned a bachelor of science degree in molecular biology. He was active in research throughout his college career focusing on the molecular genetics of tissue engineering in bone. He graduated with college and departmental honors and then pursued his medical education at the prestigious Harvard Medical School where he continued his research interests in the area of orthopedic oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital—publishing his research in multiple scientific medical journals.
After obtaining his medical degree from Harvard he headed home to Los Angeles where he continued his Orthopedic Surgery residency training at the University of Southern California. While studying at LAC+USC County Hospital he developed his true clinical interest in orthopedic traumatology. Next, he completed a dual fellowship at Stanford University in orthopedic trauma surgery and anterior total hip arthroplasty.
Currently, Dr. Berry focuses his specialty practice on disorders of the hip, knee and shoulder with a sub-specialty interest in complex fracture and trauma care.
