Dr. Hashemi has been practicing dentistry in the bay area for more than three decades. He is the Owner of Altos Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, where he works alongside Dr. Maria Smolenski Pedersen.
Possessing extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of oral health care, Dr. Hashemi focuses on preventative, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry. He is committed to providing comfortable, convenient dental care and aims for perfect results in the care he administers to his patients.
With a reputation for doing painless root canals, he is also highly trained and experienced in root canal therapy, crown and bridge, as well as implant dentistry.
A good listener, Dr. Hashemi aims to provide the care that his patients desire and deserve. He goes out of his way to attend to patients with comfort, quality, and value in mind. He is detail-oriented and thorough with all cases, whether small or large.

Academically, Dr. Hasemi attended the University of Nevada in Reno and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1991.
Many years later, in 2018, he graduated with his Master of Business Administration degree.
Among his professional dental affiliations, Dr. Hashemi is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. When not in the office providing excellent dental care, Dr. Hasemi enjoys painting and attending art shows. His son hopes to follow in his footsteps and become a dentist as well.
