She is the Owner of Asthma & Allergy Care, P.C. with offices throughout the State of New Jersey, including Denville, Budlake, Newark, and Union.

Pertaining to her educational background, Dr. Kanumury earned her medical degree from Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Sambalpur, India. Upon relocating to the United States, she went on to complete her internship at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in New York, followed by her residency in pediatrics at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. From there, she completed her fellowship in allergy immunology & infectious diseases at the University of Medicine & Dentistry in New Jersey.
Outlining her vision, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and holds board certifications through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a past President of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the American Association of Allergists & Immunologists of Indian Origin.
The doctor has served on the Board of Trustees of the Association of American Indian Physicians and in the Latex, Drug and Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Committees with the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology & the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. She has also been on the Board of Utilization Management and Quality Management Committee of University Health Plans for 3 years.
