What do you do when you're feeling upset?
When I'm feeling emotionally upset, I have started 'counting, 1234-1234-1234- over and over in my head'. This may sound foolish, but it works for me. If I can, I lay down and shut my eyes tightly and count, moving my thumb to the digits. My sister works in mental health, suggested this to me. It works for me, thank god!
What keeps you going?
I am praying for a healing it's what keeps me going. No more cancer is what I want, no more pain is another. When dealing with so much negativity, there has to be something in my life, worth fighting for. I have a new 'kitty', I love getting up in the a.m. to feed her. She helps my mood, by making me feel 'love' from her. I am waiting for the sun to shine, that changes everything for me, I feel alive and almost human again!
