More About Me

How has life changed since your diagnosis?

It changed us completely. I had to start working from home to take care of him full-time, which I am still doing to help him as much as I can. Sometimes, he isn't himself. Lately, I've noticed him going through a bit of depression because he can't do what he used to do.

What are you most passionate about?

I enjoy learning--learning about other people, learning different stories.

What do you hope readers can learn from your health journey?

I'm using this in hopes other readers can understand what this disease can do. Whether you're a patient, or a caregiver, you know exactly what I'm talking about. We are in need of a cure, so we must unite to spread as much awareness as we can.

Diagnosis

My husband was diagnosed with the disease ten years ago, at 58. We are still trying to cope with it.

Treatments

Right now, he's on Levodopa, and we both do as much exercise as we can to subdue his symptoms.
