How has life changed since your diagnosis?
My diagnosis has made me look more into myself. I didn't see a problem before, but now, I want to change my lifestyle to be a little more healthier. It wouldn't hurt.
What are you most passionate about?
Before I retired, I was formerly a police officer and now, I currently work as public safety on a college campus (I sit a lot in this job). But I always enjoyed helping people.
What do you hope readers can learn from your health journey?
I hope they realize only motivation and determination will help them treat their OSA.
Diagnosis
My wife made me go to the doctor, and we found out that I was diagnosed with sleep apnea through a sleep study.
Treatments
Currently on CPAP, but I'm looking into losing the weight--since that's where the problem seems to stem.
