How long does it take for gums to heal after a root canal?

I am a 38 year old female. I want to know how long does it take for gums to heal after a root canal?

Your gums should not be affected at all unless there was an abscess. In that case the guns typically heal in a few days if your a non smoker and have good home care. If not it can take much longer. Keep up good hygiene and you’ll be all healed up quickly unless there were other complications.

Your gums should not be traumatized during a root canal procedure. Therefore, there should not be any healing time involved.
1-3 days, at the most 1 week in most cases
The actual root canal procedure only involves mechanical work inside of the tooth, which doesn't impact the gums. The gums may already be inflamed or swollen, and should heal in a week or two after the root canal. Also, if an anesthetic injection is given in the gums before the root canal, it may be a little tender or sore for a few days. However, as I stated above, the actual root canal procedure does not impact the gums in any way.
