Inadvertent Xanax withdrawal symptoms?

I forgot to refill my Xanax prescription and went over 24hrs without a dose. I woke up Thursday morning feeling poorly with what I believe were withdrawal symptoms like sweating, trembling, and palpitations/dizziness. I refilled my script that afternoon and began taking the medication again twice a day as prescribed. I am, however, still occasionally not feeling well, still experiencing flushing and palpitations. Could withdrawal symptoms still appear after starting the medication again? The Xanax is prescribed for PTSD and I have no cardiac or other medical history.

For patient's safety, patient must go to the Emergency Department for further clinical evaluation.
Xanax is habit forming. It takes 5 doses to return to your normal blood level. From my research, Xanax is not the drug of choice for PTSD.

Yes you need to discuss these matters with your treating physician asap please
It is unlikely for you to be having withdrawal symptoms after being back on
the medication. I would recommend speaking with your primary care doctor to
do a physical exam and check bloodwork to make sure there
isnt something else going on.
Your withdrawal symptoms should stop after you restart your medication. Typically after the first dose most people have resolution of their withdrawal. There could be another reason why you aren’t feeling well. Speak to your doctor.
