Is it a cyst or cancerous bump?

Hello. Today I took a shower and I felt nothing in my back I was fine. As soon I go to sleep, i slept on my back, I felt something hurting. I went to check and I feel a bump. It hurts as I move positions to sleep. It only hurts when I move like when I’m laying down other than that it doesn’t hurt. I’m really worried and this never happened. I don’t really have pictures this just occurred and I’m confused. What can I do?

you should see your family doctor and they can order the appropriate imaging to evaluate
You shouldn't jump to "cancer" as a potential source of what this lump is. Generally cancer takes a while to develop into something you can feel, as opposed to an infection which can occur quickly. See a medical professional about your lump and they can discuss specific diagnoses and treatment options for you
At your age cancer is very, very unlikely. You should see your primary care doctor.
It’s hard to say what this may be from your brief description and not being able to seee or palpate it. It could be something as simple as local muscle spasm. The best thing to do is to contact your PCP and have him lay eyes on it.
