Dental cleaning by hygienist or dentist. Plus your teeth brush and floss every night or every other night.
I you floss every day, the gingivitis will go away. That is your only solution. Dr. Totonchi
Simple. Brush your teeth real well after breakfast and again before going to sleep. Floss every night and see your dentist for a professional cleaning at least every 6 months. Your gingivitis will go away!
Bottom line...reduce the bacteria count in your mouth.  Its a numbers game.  The more bacteria, the more acids, the more inflammation.  Brushing and flossing are the only mechanical means by which to remove plaque which is where the bacteria live.  Hope this helps. Gingivitis, inflammation of the gums, could be caused by a lot of factors. The most common local cause is due to bacterial colonization of food debris (plaque) resting on the gums and teeth. This causes irritation with painful and sometimes bleeding gums. This can be easily treated by brushing your teeth with toothpaste and flossing in between your teeth at least twice daily. If gingivitis does not resolve, schedule an appointment with your dentist for further exam to determine other causative factors. *Vibrant Dentistry | Matthews, NC* vibrantdentistrync.com T: 704.771.1544 F: 704.771.1333 *CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE:* This e-mail, including any attachments, may contain confidential information which is intended only for the use of the individual(s) or entitled named. Generally brushing and flossing will take care of it. If your gums are still bleeding even when you brush and floss twice a day I would see the dentist. If you haven't had a cleaning in a while, you may have some calculus build up causing the irritation which the dentist can clean off so everything heals nicely.
