Get to know Radiologist Dr. Irina A. Vasilyeva, who serves patients in New York City, New York. 

Dr. Vasilyeva is an established radiologist who sees patients at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in New York City, New York. NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln has provided quality health care services to the community for 9 years. Since its inception, Lincoln has worked diligently to ensure the provision of quality medical care, programs, and services to the community. Lincoln has a rich and varied history that reflects the vibrant growth of the institution and the community it serves.

Dr. Vasilyeva earned her medical degree from Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in Moscow, Russia in 1981. After moving to the United States, she completed an internship at New York Hospital and a residency at Harlem Hospital,  undertaking her fellowship training with San Francisco General Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Vasilyeva earned her PhD from the Moscow Regional Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Vasilyeva is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). 

Dr. Vasilyeva is a distinguished member of the Radiological Society of North America, the New York Roentgen Society, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. She has dedicated her life to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients, and she strives to provide the best outcomes possible. Dr. Vasilyeva speaks both English and Russian fluently. She attributes her success to her hard work and dedication. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing.
