Growing up in the Chicago area, Dr. Novy obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona in 1992. She then attended medical school at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, graduating with her medical degree in 1996. This was followed by a residency in pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Among her philanthropic endeavours, Dr. Novy loves Arizona Basset Hound Rescue.
