Mold is commonly found in homes. Depending on the type of mold and if you have any other medical conditions it can cause some health issues. It is definitely a good idea to be seen by a medical professional. You do not necessarily need to be seen by an urgent care vs going to your primary care provider. If you are having major symptoms that are worsening then an urgent care may be appropriate. If your having mild symptoms that are worsening or just concerning I would be seen by your PCP with the next few days to week. I hope this helps. Good luck.

It is definitely not good for anyone to have that much sertraline all at once. If you took that much all at one time, you need to be seen by a physician immediately. In addition, did you take that much on purpose? That is also not good in general and should talk with your doctor about your medications if you do not think they’re working. Be honest with your doctor so they can help you best but please seek medical care immediately if you have not.

There are several things that can cause an annoying cough depending on what is going on. It is hard to know if there is a medicine that can help as you don’t know the cause. Some common causes of an annoying dry cough are uncontrolled asthma, acid reflux, or post nasal drip from allergies or irritations. If you have not done so yet, I would recommend seeing a doctor so they can check you out and figure out what the cause is.

There are several ways to treat carpal tunnel. The only real way to “fix” would be surgery. But there are several ways to make it better in order to avoid surgery. It all depends on how bad it is. Ways you can conservatively treat include physical therapy, osteopathic manipulation, steroid injection, and night bracing.

If it is the beginning of carpal tunnel, often you can start with night time splinting with a cock-up splint. It’s a wrist splint you can get at a pharmacy that keeps your wrist open. The most important thing with the splint is to only wear it at night. This helps keep the area open and not squish the nerve while you sleep but doesn’t make the wrist weak. If you wear the brace too much during the day it makes the muscles weak and then will make things worse.

This is just the basic info but hopefully it helps.

Great question.
So, you can’t exactly reverse diabetes. Unfortunately, once you have the diagnosis, it technically stays with you forever due to having the risk. But just cause you have it though doesn’t mean you can’t take control. Plus, not all diabetics need medication, some are able to control it with diet and lifestyle depending on how bad it is. In some cases, people do such a good job with their control that it looks like they don’t have diabetes anymore. Things that you can do are get educated on proper foods to eat - lower carb content and moderation of natural sugars. If pasta, bread or rice brown is better than white. And, of course, physical activity is very useful. For many, some weight loss is extremely useful. These are the lifestyle things you can do. Often, medication is needed for some period of time, but depends on how bad it is.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Pain from the appendix is usually in the right lower corner of the belly but can be other places too. For some, it starts around the belly button and then concentrates to the right lower part. The pain is usually acute. Meaning it comes on relatively quickly and steadily gets worse and doesn’t get better unless it bursts. If you're worried about your appendix, then you should be seen by a doctor ASAP so they can examine you and decide if it’s possible/likely they usually will order an imaging study to confirm or just send you to the emergency department. When the appendix is inflamed, causing appendicitis, it will need to be surgically removed. Be careful and please be seen if you're worried.
