Dr. Meyerrose earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in 1975. From there, he went on to perform his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the same educational venue. Continuing his training, Dr. Meyerrose then completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, a nuclear medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a second cardiovascular fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Lubbock.
